Nature is the natural place to learn about the necessities of life. It is a place to play, grow food, watch science, connect for emotional and mental health and so much more. Everything in nature is interconnected. You cannot help but to learn about different subjects and areas of life.
Through play, do and experiencing nature you learn about the laws of nature. There are seven universal laws of nature and they are the principles that govern everyone and everything.
The seven laws are split into two groups. The first three are the Higher Immutable Laws. It means they can never be changed or transcended. And they have always existed and will always exist.
The remaining four laws are the Lower Mutable Laws. They can be changed or transcended and you can work with them to change your inner or outer world.

Nature’s Law of Mentalism
“The All is Mind the Universe is Mental”. This is applied to the physical, mental and spiritual plane. What you experience or create on earth is a result of your thoughts and imagination.
Through our minds we can manifest our lives. Both good and bad things can be manifested. If you are negative you might manifest a day where your friends won’t play with you. Or on a positive side, you can imagine having a tree house and get everyone together to work on this project.
Through our minds we also gather knowledge. Your mind helps you to unlock learning and understanding the information you receive.
Nature’s Law of Correspondence
The Law of Correspondence tells us “As Above So Below, As Below So Above; As Within So Without, As Without So Within”. This means there is harmony, agreement and correspondence between all planes, physical, mental and spiritual.
Everything outside of us is a reflection of what is going on inside of us. To understand the state of your outer physical world, you can take a look into your inner mental world.
Think of the life cycle of a butterfly. It starts as a caterpillar but is slowly changing on the inside to eventually break out as a butterfly. As you change your thoughts in your inner world, over time, they will change your outer world.
Nature’s Law of Vibration
The Law of Vibrations states “Nothing Rests, Everything Moves, Everything Vibrates” and “The Whole Universe is But a Vibration”. Everything, including you, is made up of energy and vibrates at a certain frequency.
Everything you experience with your five senses is conveyed to your brain through vibrations. And the energy you put out, is the energy you receive. Your behaviour is in your control and you are responsible for your actions. If you care for others, they will also care for you.
Or imagine planting seeds and watch your plant grow. The more positive energy and love you put into it, the more positive feelings and enjoyment you will get from your gardening. If you learn to be conscious about your actions, you learn to know what is going on in your mind and to be aware of what is going on around you.

Nature’s Law of Polarity
According to this law “Everything is Dual, Everything has Poles”, “Everything has Its Pair of Opposites”. There are two sides to everything. Even when it seems contradictory, things are just extremes sides of the same thing.
Think of hot and cold. Although it looks like hot and cold are different concepts, they are simply different expressions of the concept of temperature.
This is also the same for emotions like love and hate or concepts like positive and negative or good and evil. The most important thing to remember in this law is the golden rule. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
Nature’s Law of Rhythm
The Law of Rhythm states that “Everything Flows Out and In”, “All Things Rise and Fall”. Everything in nature is always moving like a pendulum. There is always an action and reaction, a rising and sinking.
You can see this law in action in nature through the rise and fall of the waves of the ocean. After night comes day and after day comes night, the same for the seasons. Physically you can experience it when you sit on a swing and go forward and backward like a pendulum.
Just like you see the movement in nature, you can notice it in your emotions. We go from happy to sad to happy. And if you can remember this flow, you can remind yourself in the sad times that there is another side to swing to. You can move yourself to the happy side.
Nature’s Law of Cause and Effect
This law says “Every Cause Has Its Effect” and “Every Effect Has Its Cause”. According to this law, everything you observe in your physical outer world, has a point of origin in your mental inner world.
Nature’s Law of Cause and Effect helps us understand and know the world that we create together. This is related to the concept of karma as there is always a consequence for our behaviour.
We can see the concept of karma in nature and our lives. If you play with fire, there could be a consequence of getting hurt or you could do harm if the fire gets out of control and cause damages.

Nature’s Law of Gender
The Law of Gender states that “Everything has its Masculine and Feminine Principles” and “Gender is in Everything”. It is the opposite of sexes or genders that exist in all of creation. This is evident in humans, plants, electrons and magnetic poles, to name a few.
The masculine is directive and the feminine is creative but they both have to work together to create harmony. The masculine is also your conscious mind where you find your will and logic. The feminine is your subconscious mind which is your desires and emotions.
When you observe nature, you use your masculine energy to learn more about it, reason about how things work and create logic conclusions. Your feminine side can appreciate the beauty and connect intuitively with nature.
Animalia
At Animalia we explore these laws naturally through daily exploration in nature and the classroom. We believe that truth is that which is. Everyone is expected to take responsibility for their thoughts and actions. Radical Self Responsibility is the name of the game.
We have daily reminders to think about how we are affecting those around us as well as the planet we live on. Looking inwards and being aware of your impact is an important part of growth and becoming responsible.
